01Who we are

POWERBAND is a marketing agency based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. We run the website powerband.agency and are responsible for the personal data described in this policy.

02What we collect

• Enquiries: when you use our contact or free-audit form we receive your name, email address and message, plus your company and budget range if you choose to enter them.
• Messages you send us directly by email, phone or WhatsApp.
• Analytics data, only if you accept cookies: pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, how you reached the site, and clicks on our WhatsApp, email and phone links and form submissions.
• Technical data that our hosting provider processes to deliver and protect the site, such as your IP address and request logs.

03How we use it

• To reply to your enquiry and prepare a proposal.
• To provide our services and manage our relationship with you.
• To understand how the site is used and improve it (analytics, only with your consent).
• To keep the site secure and prevent spam and abuse.
• To meet legal and accounting obligations.

We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for advertising profiling.

04Legal basis

We rely on your consent for analytics (you can withdraw it at any time), on taking steps at your request and our legitimate business interests for handling enquiries, and on legal obligations where they apply. This policy is written to align with the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data and, for visitors in the European Economic Area, the GDPR.

05Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used. It is switched off until you click Accept in the cookie notice. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set and no analytics data is sent.

We do not use advertising or personalisation cookies. Your choice is remembered in your browser so we do not ask again, and you can change it at any time with the Cookie settings button on this page or in the footer.

06Who we share it with

• Vercel, which hosts the website and stores enquiries in encrypted form.
• Our email provider, which delivers enquiry notifications to our inbox.
• Google, for analytics, only if you accept cookies.
• WhatsApp (Meta), if you choose to message us there; their own privacy policy applies.
• Professional advisers or authorities, only where the law requires it.

These providers handle data on our behalf and may operate outside the UAE, including in the European Union and the United States. We choose providers that apply appropriate safeguards.

07Security and retention

Enquiries are stored encrypted, the site is served over HTTPS, and access to the enquiry dashboard is protected by a password. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.

We keep enquiries for as long as needed to respond and manage our relationship, and as required for legal and accounting purposes, and then delete them. Analytics data is kept by Google Analytics for a limited period.

08Your rights

• Ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct or delete it.
• Object to, or ask us to restrict, how we use it.
• Withdraw your consent to analytics at any time.
• Ask for your data in a portable format, where applicable.

We will reply within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to the data protection authority in your country.

09Children

Our website is for businesses and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their personal data.

10Links to other sites

The site links to WhatsApp, Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram. Those services have their own privacy practices, which we do not control.

11Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version.
